We are a church that loves cutting edge praise and worship, Bible-based preaching and fellowship with one another. When people visit Gateway Church for the first time, they are always blessed by the friendliness and welcome they receive. Relationship with God and people are important to us. Gateway Church has been reaching the people of Ashtabula County with the love of Jesus for over 70 years. Through prayer, hard work and a willingness to grow and change, God has molded a group of believers into a dynamic team. Our Purpose

The purpose of Gateway is to create a community of authentic believers to transform our city and our region through expressing the life changing truths of Gods word and having powerful experiences with Him through His Holy Spirit!

Our Mission

The mission of Gateway Church is to be a gateway (any passage by or point at which a region may be entered) for the move of God into Northeast Ohio. We want to see revival consume Ashtabula County and the surrounding counties! As we equip the saints for the work of the Lord and His Kingdom, revival will flow through this region to “do the work of the ministry.” (Ephesians 4:11-13)

We Believe

Gateway Church is part of the Assemblies of God. We hold to the Assemblies of God 16 Fundamental Truths, which can be found here.

We Believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God
We Believe in the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
We Believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
We Believe we can be forgiven of our sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
We Believe that we are saved by grace, through faith
We Believe that God still performs miracles today
We Believe in divine healing
We Believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in all believers
We Believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues
We Believe that Jesus Christ will return
